Situated in the hills above Granada. Hotel is difficult to find if you approach from the city of Granada. In a straight line close to the Alhambra, but be aware, if you walk through Albayzin with it's narrow and steep streets, it takes at least half an hour to go to the city centre, and from there it is a ferm walk to the Alhambra.
We were placed in a room which looked at an unattractive old garage. The other side of the hotel is situated on the side of the swimming pool. This (larger) rooms all have a balcony. We booked for three days, and the other guests were mainly passengers from bustravel agency's. It was no problem when we asked for an other room. Strange that the attractive swimming pool is closed, but we knew this when we booked.
Fantastic swimming pool, even tho closed as no lifeguard but we thought that we could still use it and did. Rooms big and we had a balcony. Staff friendly n helpful.hotel clean.
A bit far from town but we had a car.25 Mins walk away and bus stop bout 20mins away. Hotel a bit dated nd needs some external repairs etc
i didnt like any thing.
it was dirty, fotos dont match thr reality, i was really disappointed
Great swimming pool. Perfect place if you have a car to get to the city.
Large, nice, clean rooms with airconditioning. On site parking. Friendly staff. Large pool, which however, is only open in the summer.
It was a bit out of the way with the navigation not being able to find the address, and its a bit far from the city center so you need a car to get around. Staff speak limited English. Furnishings are a bit dated.
The hotel has free parking which is an advantage because not many hotels in Granada offer parking, let alone free parking. The hotel is very quiet at night because it is far away from the bustles of the city.
The location is not great. It is located uphill and it is very difficult to drive to from the city center even if you have GPS. Apparently there is only one route to reach the hotel and you should learn it before you leave the hotel. The swimming pool is not cleaned on a regular basis. There is a lot of bugs and bees and my smallest daughter actually got bit by a bee in the pool. The breakfast is not very diverse and there are not many options. The staff were friendly but many of them know little to no English.
Me ha encantado su personal, super amable. Y la ubicación, teniendo coche, claro, perfecta! Se ve toda Granada! y de noche es muy tranquilo para dormir.Las vistas y la piscina son muy buenas. I´ve liked the staff so friendly aand helpfull. The location, if you have a car, is perfect, you can see whole Granada, and at night is so quietly. The sights are very wonderfull. The swimming pool is huge.
es un poco viejo, pero, no es ninguna desventaja por el precio que pagas. realmente no hay ninguna cosa fea. It´s a little dated, but is not a handicap, because the cheaper prices in low season (summer).
Very well situated : in a hill above he city (which is at 5 mns by car). The personnel is pleasant, and there is a symthetic restaurant, with local specialities. There is a relaxed atmosphere, the room are large and clean, there is silence and there is a godd view of the woods which surround the hotel.
hotel is comfort with good staff
location is difficult and about 20 minutes from Alhambra palace
The staff were excellent, polite, well spoken and courteous. (I speak Spanish so I can only say how it was in Spanish.) The bar served canas with free tapas, and a 3 course dinner menu with healthy choices (set price of 10€, but you must ask for it) was reasonable and the house wine was very good. We loved the view over Granada and our room looked over pine trees and the seasonal pool, which was not in use when we visited. We had a balcony which was a nice surprise. There was a free car park which had plenty of spaces. The hotel was nicely decorated in an old fashioned Granada style. We will stay there again.
The bathroom was not as clean as it could be - the soap dish was very moldy and broken. The hotel is as it describes 2.5 km from Granada, but it is on a mountain A road coming out of the suburbs of Granada and is not possible to walk or take a bus from the hotel to get into Granada - you are basically above Granada looking down on the lights of the suburbs. It's not really something we didn't like but may not suit everyone expecting to be able to walk from the hotel into Granada, which is not possible. It would be nice if in general, Spanish hotels would open their pool earlier in the year as UK and other guests would definitely use it as early as March; or if the hotel could state exactly when the pool is open in advertising.
location out of city is good, parking easy, WiFi worked fine
the food in the restaurant is the worst we've encountered in spain, the room was out of the ark, the hotel is tatty and not a charming hotel as described on the website
good source of information, nice and friendly staff.
i would like the pool to be open straight after breakfast has finished.
Very comfortable, the rooms are large enough, and the bathroom is very clean. There is a swimming pool in the hotel and a nice garden, the breakfast was good.
The staff were not very helpful when we asked for direction (our gps couldn't find the street). One of the staff was very rude with us...when we made the booking we forgot to include breakfast, on our first day we went to one of the staff and we asked him to include breakfast into the price, which he did. On the second day we did the same with another staff member, but this time the guy asked us to pay upfront, I asked him to include this with the price of the hotel but he refused, and kept on telling the same thing...we end up going to the reception and the manager presented us his excuses...ah from the same guy he refused to bring a spoon to one of my friends while he didn't hesitate to bring it to another customer....
Excellent hotel situated in quit place. Near the hill with green pines. Internal pool is superb. Free parking close to the hotel with carport\shield from the Sun. If you want to visit AlHambra, but do not want to search or put your car in to expensive city parking, it is possible to walk to AlHambra direct from the hotel. Distance ~4.1km. We walked to AlHambra downhill approximately in 50 minutes, back way was a little longer. Used gps with pedestrian mode for this purpose.
If you do not like to walk, hotel situated a little far from Granada.
The stuffs were really kind.
The room was smell in smoking. The hotel was far from Station or bus stops.
